Friday, October 9th, 2009

At the Traveas headquarters there´s a lot of great stuff going on, but this time I must say we are a bit extra proud.

This means that our TravelPlanner™ soon will be available for 1 million people travelling worldwide.

For all of you without deep knowledge in the travel business, FlightStats is the leading provider of worldwide flight on-time performance information. Now, they have decided to broaden their mobile alerts for everone globally, and they have chosen Traveas to become their strategic partner for SMS/Text Messaging alerts. By making Traveas mobile alert services available for all visitors at www.flightstats.com, the partnership opens up a market window for all FlightStats users outside the US and North America, approximately 1 million users per month.

David White, VP Business Development at FlightStats, says:
“We constantly aim to provide our users with the most up to date information about a flight – when they need it, no matter where they are. The partnership with Traveas makes it possible for all our users to go mobile. This is something we consider fantastic news for each and every user we have outside the US and North America. We look forward to extend our mobile presence to a global market.”

The launch will take place during Q4 2009.

Cheers!

Traveas partners up with ITP

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009

While I´m at it bragging about how great we are, I might as well continue, right :-)

Travel agency network ITP chooses Traveas for their global launch of mobile itineraries. ITP (International Travel Partnership) is one of the leading independent travel agency networks in the world,  representing more than 45 agencies on five continents across the world.

ITP
We are already in tests with a bunch of the agencies and commercial launch for the first ones is planned for Q4 2009.

Since one of our objectives is to be represented on more continents than Europe during 2010, and since ITP has representation on all five continents, this partnership is a huge step in the right direction.

Cheers!
